Accessibility

Work with the Event Management team to ensure your event is accessible, including venue, set up, technology and promotional materials.

For Event Organizers

All promotions (electronic, paper, etc.) advertising University sponsored events must include a statement informing attendees how they may request disability accommodations for the event. Promotions should also include locations and instructions for using the accessible entrance (if applicable – e.g. Low Rotunda is wheelchair accessible via northeast building entrance) and any other accommodations that have been pre-arranged for all participants (e.g. ASL interpreters, large print materials, etc.)

For Event Attendees

Columbia University makes every effort to accommodate individuals with disabilities. Please notify us if you need any assistance or contact the event’s point person. Alternatively, Disability Services can be reached at 212.854.2388 and [email protected].

Other Columbia Venues

There are other campus venues are not managed by the Event Management team, but are offered through other Columbia University schools or departments. See contact details for information and booking. Be sure to discuss accessibility requirements for the event with the venue manager.
