At the start of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, Event Management set up a fund to help students manage AV and technical costs for activities held in Lerner Hall. This Academic Year from September 2025 through May 2026, the fund saved students $123,164.

The Event Management team is proud to support student events on campus with memorable food, drinks, and entertainment. A recent highlight was the debut of the team’s new portable s’mores station at the Snowplace Like Low! event in December, which demonstrates how creative, cozy activations can enhance student gatherings.
Since March, the program has hosted 37 vendors, providing a platform for local entrepreneurs to reach new audiences within the Columbia and surrounding Uptown communities. This year-long effort culminated in a three-week holiday market in December.
