Linenless tables, reduced disposables, and compost: Event Management recognizes that catering packaging has an impact on the environment. The team is committed through continuous assessment of our operating procedures to take measures to reduce or neutralize its carbon footprint.
Recently, we replaced all of our environmentally damaging petroleum-based plastic utensils with bioplastics, which are biodegradable and compostable, and naturally derived from corn, potatoes, sugar cane or other plants. Additionally, all of our paper plates are made from 100% recycled paper and are completely biodegradable and compostable.
Our green initiatives are ever-evolving to include what makes sense both fiscally and ecologically to ensure satisfaction and better health for students, faculty, staff and community.
