STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Say hello again to Steve Francis, the Director of Technical Services for Event Management. Steve joined the team in 2017 and is responsible for all of the audio-visual (AV) services at campus events. Before coming to Columbia, Steve owned and operated a recording studio as a music producer and sound engineer, working with some famous (and many not-so-famous) artists. This experience taught him to treat every client as if they were a VIP, because even though their needs were different, their project was the most important thing to them in the moment. Steve is from the UK and is very proud of his Jamaican heritage.
