2026 duPont-Columbia Awards Hosted at Lee C. Bollinger Forum

The duPont-Columbia Awards have honored journalistic excellence for over 80 years. This year, the Columbia School of Journalism selected the Lee C. Bollinger Forum as the site for this most esteemed event in audio and video reporting.

January 28, 2026

Winners and attendees were invited to celebrate in the Bollinger Forum’s Atrium, a sweeping space with floor to ceiling windows. Hosting the event at the Bollinger Forum, a new modern location on Columbia’s Manhattanville campus brought a fresh take to an iconic event.

The Event Management culinary team worked with the School of Journalism to match the menu to the occasion with an elevated globally-inspired and inventive array of passed hors d'oeuvres and food stations. Delectables included tuna tartare with wasabi mayonnaise on a rice cracker, curried chicken salad with grapes on endive, Moroccan lamb kebob, grilled artichoke heart with ricotta cheese, coconut shrimp with Thai sweet chili and more.

The awards ceremony was hosted by 60 Minutes Correspondent Scott Pelley and NPR Morning Edition Host Michel Martin in the Auditorium.

During the ceremony, 15 Silver Baton winners and one Special Citation honoree were recognized. Read more about this year’s event.
